We’re committed to sustainability and eco-consciousness. That’s why we do our best to create our clothing using sustainable, as well as natural materials.
Our winter knits are made from Eco-Viscose which is a naturally occurring fiber derived from cellulose. Cellulose can be found and harvested quickly in fast-growing plants like bamboo, soy, and sugar cane. Eco Viscose is simply viscose that has been farmed using sustainable modern methods and it’s a wonderfully, soft material.
Our warm weather knits are made from microbial OEKO-Tek bamboo. Bamboo has a silky cashmere texture that is softer than cotton and feels amazing against your skin.
We focus on—Versatility
At Biita our clothing can be worn in multiple ways because we choose fabrics and styles that can be dressed up or down. Our passion is to create styles that can be effortlessly put together and look polished without you having to spend too much time or effort.
We pursue—Local and Sustainable production
Our materials are sourced in the Americas and small-batched produced locally in Massachusetts, New York and Connecticut, which allows us to reduce our carbon footprint. Another great benefit to local production, and one that we are proud of, is that it produces jobs.
